The ACPMHC founded Florida's Inaugural Perinatal Mental Health Conference in 2016.  The conference took place in Gainesville at the Wyndham Grand.  The two day event provided education for providers and various professionals as well as community education/awareness through the two day event.  This was the first known conference of its' kind in Florida.

Since then, the 2017 conference gained the support of statewide stakeholders and a "marquis" sponsorship from AHCA via USF programs on behavioral health.  The 2016 conference took place in Orlando, FL with both state and national speakers engaging various professions that interface with perinatal women, babies and families throughout the state of Florida.
